Building the Beloved Community

We live in a world in which fear of ‘the Other’ and acts of discrimination combine to pull us apart across lines of “race,” religion, class, ability, sexuality and geography.  Through our work with school communities including youth-serving organizations, churches, public health and social service agencies and civil rights groups -- we engage in work to build community based on the Kingian principles of empathy, eyes toward justice, and nonviolent actions.
